Justin Tadlock, designer of the Hybrid theme, recently announced that Hybrid 0.6 has been released. This release has a number of new features, a lot of which are WordPress 2.8 specific. Unfortunately with all these new features, the latest version of Hybrid is not backwards compatible with previous versions of WordPress.
- Much more lightweight than previous versions of Hybrid, with improvements to CSS and Javascript to make it faster
- A number of new templates, mostly those for different types of archive pages
- New theme options page
- New layout stylesheets for designers
- New body classes
- Can now separate trackbacks from comments
Make sure you have WordPress 2.8 installed and then go to the Hybrid page to grab the latest version.
